Every spring I look forward to sitting on the couch and watching my birds all come back, usually one at a time. I’m lucky to have a few birds at my feeder year round, but the Spring birds add a punch of colour and variety. Let me introduce you to a few of my favourite […]

A fresh hairdo, Fall leaves and a cloudy day…I must have read somewhere these are the ingredients for a Self Portrait Session. It’s been awhile since I have turned the camera on myself, but feel I might get another session in before the leaves have all fallen. I just love this time of year. The […]

We have had these chicks for 3 weeks today. They were probably 4-5 days old when we got them and they are growing SO quickly. We got 9 and then about 4 days later, we got another 9. Week 2 and they were still pretty easy to catch and not flying yet

It was a great weekend for photography. Laura and I missed getting together in the Spring for our seasonal shoot, so we made up for it this weekend for our Summer shoot. This lovely lady couldn’t have planned a better wardrobe.  Rule of thumb…when you can’t decide, bring everything you might want to change into. […]

It was a pretty busy day at the Sheep Shelf Open House (Farm).  They had a great variety of stuff to purchase sheep milk dairy products, wool dryer […]

Week 4 is behind me.  It’s definitely been a “Country” story telling week.  Wild Turkey’s, yarn spinning, tractors and gardening. As I look at the images that I like best there is one common theme.  Shallow depth of field is my favorite. I am hoping to develop my own style of photography this year, but […]
