Well, I guess the best place to start is to introduce myself.
Teira (tear-ah)…almost always mispronounced without my “Hooked on Phonics” guide. Typing how to pronounce it is one thing, in person it goes more like “tear in your eye with an “a” at the end.
I’m super excited to jump in with both feet with my photography.
I’ve spent the last few months studying countless online tutorials, resources, videos…you name it. I’m being spammed like mad on all my social media sites with targeted ads for Starting your own Business, Photography online courses and Lightroom Presets.
I have found a few online resources that have really helped me focus on what I want to learn, how I want to learn, what I want to share and the style of photography I want to develop. I will share each of my faves in coming posts and how they have changed the way I approach my photography.
I am a Nikon Shooter.
I starting shooting in manual mode in the summer of 2016 and haven’t looked back.
Although there is a lot of in between pieces I have left out, you are mostly caught up on where I am in my photography journey.
What’s coming is the most exciting. My website, www.teiraferris.com just went live yesterday, my blog went live today, and I am anxious to find new friends to invite me into their life to capture their special moments.
To Kick Off my Photography commitment, I have started a 365 project. It is just as it sounds…one image once a day. #teira365 on Instagram. The 365 Project started on April 1.
I haven’t been 100% committed to following my plan for Candid, Creamy and Colorful images, as I had originally planned, but I’m still finding my way. I’m not lost, just wandering around and having fun. No Rules!
