Let’s shoot outside on the coldest and windiest day of Spring, ‘K?

My friend, Deb, is a trooper when it comes to my crazy adventures.  She is always up for helping me out and I’d like to think has some fun along the way.  Hard to say, lol.  It always seems to be super cold out.  A few years ago we played with night photography using sparklers in winter.  BRRR!  This definitely wasn’t that bad.

There were a few things I wanted to work on during this shoot.  Leading lines (found them at the dock), fill the frame, full body, details, negative space, foreground (lurking as Deb would say), and Candid,Creamy and Colorful.

I’m definitely happy with how this shoot turned out.

Lurking (I mean peering in with foreground), was definitely the hardest for me to see or find.  Will need to work on using my surroundings to see if there is a structure or tree branch that will frame my subject and allow me to “peer in on a private moment”.

Negative space was tricky too.

My two lenses used were 50mm f/1.4 and 28mm f/1.8 and the Nikon D7200 Crop-Sensor camera.
